Squawk Walk

The Squawk Walk is an event at the Green that celebrates the role that the Houston area plays in the lives of birds. The event is co-sponsored by Houston Audubon and is held in September during Bird Week. Attendees are encouraged to register for guided bird walks (approximately one mile in length) on our ADA accessible trails. Texas Master Naturalists are on hand to answer questions and help spot and identify bird species. The event is appropriate for guests five years old and older.

The public is welcome to walk all our lake loop trails throughout the day. Be sure to remember to bring your cameras, binoculars, drinking water, and walking shoes.
